North American Strawberry Growers Association Newsletter

(Current membership is required)

NASGA provides members a newsletter four times each year with news about strawberry research, production and marketing, about the industry, and about the people who form the NASGA network.

Many articles contained in the newsletter are written especially for the NASGA membership by leading industry researchers and can be found in no other publications. Other reports detail issues and topics that are specific to the needs of the small growers who make up the bulk of the NASGA membership. This is information to read and put into use in your daily operations.

The newsletter also helps keep members up to date on what is happening among other growers. Because the networking and friendships forged through NASGA are a vital resource to the membership, the newsletter serves as the bulletin board for spreading information about the people who are important to you and your business. And each issue spotlights a NASGA member to help you grow your network of support.

Advertisers, as well as nurseries and other supplier members of NASGA, use the newsletter to introduce new products and to keep members apprised of improved production tools. The newsletter is also the way that members learn about the innovative new methods that are being explored by their fellow growers.

Each issue of the newsletter contains a listing of events and programs that members can schedule on their calendar. Background and details of NASGA’s own meetings are also included, as well as follow-up reports and pictures of recent events.

The NASGA newsletter allows the membership to share in a broader view of the industry. Members are always encouraged to make suggestions for topics they would like to see addressed in each issue and to provide their own updates to be included in the quarterly reports.
